Welcome to our website!

Breton Communications Inc., Canada’s leading publisher of optical trade magazines, is excited to unveil two new independent publications for the optical industry to start immediately for the May/June 2011 issues:

  • ENVISION, an English-language optical magazine

    and
  • ENVUE, for the French-language market.

We will also soon introduce the first-ever Canadian digital magazines in the optical field.

The publishing world is rapidly changing for publishers and advertisers alike. How do we connect with readers in the increasingly mobile world? How do we integrate new media into our business strategies? How do we bridge the gap between print and the Internet?

Breton Communications answers these questions with decisive leadership. We offer a variety of products and platforms for advertisers:

  • Opti-News: The best-read e-bulletin in the industry, which provides a fresh look at how the market is evolving on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Opti-Guide: The only Canadian Optical Buyers’ Guide, provides a true connection between optical suppliers and the clients they serve. Opti-Guide is published annually and sent free to all optical shops across Canada or can be accessed via its official website.

The above publications are joined by our custom services:

  • Opti-Promo:Allows clients to send promotional offerings via the Internet to targeted audiences.
  • Opti-Mail: A direct mail service guaranteed to reach your target audience in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Opti-Rep:A directory that offers a specialized working tool for sales departments and sales representatives.

Our quality magazines will be produced by the same skilled editorial staff, reaching the audience that knows us well, with an amplified distribution network for both magazines.

The new look and augmented availability of our magazines will be much better adapted to the needs and concerns of advertisers. Every advertiser benefits from a wide range of products that are well established in the Canadian optical market.

Even though we have ended our collaboration with the OAC (Opticians Association of Canada) please rest assured that your advertising contracts with Breton Communications remain valid and will be honoured.

We wish to thank all our advertisers for their trust and loyalty in our products and we look forward to a continued relationship with you as we move in this exciting new direction.
